Outremont (Québec) – Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, joined Outremont candidate Rachel Bendayan and local volunteers on Monday for door-to-door in the community. Trudeau accompanied Bendayan throughout the riding in which she was born, hearing the priorities of local residents and visiting the Brûlerie Urbaine on Côte des Neiges.
“It’s exciting to have Justin Trudeau in Outremont once again to hear our community’s priorities for a better future,” said Rachel Bendayan. I know that Outremonters want a progressive, responsible government – one that embodies and defends the Canadian values close to our heart. Working together, we can ensure that our community’s voice is heard in Parliament.”
Justin Trudeau’s visit follows the hard work of hundreds of local volunteers who have been knocking on doors in the community for months, and builds on the 32,000 doors that Rachel Bendayan has knocked on since 2013.
“There’s no better way to hear about this community’s priorities than joining Rachel on the doorstep,” said Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. “I need a strong and trusted leader like Rachel on my team in Parliament, to continue our work together to strengthen the middle class, create well-paying new jobs for the community, and offer real help for families right here in Outremont.”
